Laura Pott was one of three recipients of the 2020 SAA Institute for Field Research Undergraduate Student Travel Award for her poster "A population-level assessment of atlas occipitalization and its relationship to artificial cranial modification in pre-Hispanic Peru.” This research was completed during her internship at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History during summer 2019.[/caption]
